Articulating his unique flow of rap and praise, Demetrus is releasing his highly anticipated CD entitled God’s Child (Kaught Upp Entertainment). With guest features from some of the nation’s top recording artists like Canton Jones and the soulful sounds of Lisa McClendon, Demetrus is infiltrating the industry with power and authority. Fred Hammond also afforded Demetrus the opportunity to remake the classic praise and worship song entitled “Running Back to You.” It is no secret that Demetrus has an extraordinary anointing to impact the hearts of both young and mature audiences. This was made evident when his last two projects, “3 The God Way” and “I Still Remember,” proudly sold over 25,000 copies.“God’s Child” exclaims Demetrus’ intimate and heart felt testimony of learning just three years ago that he was adopted. He has shared his pain, process and healing throughout every line, and although the journey has been tough, Demetrus has had many great accomplishments along the way. He is now an ordained minister and is successfully living out one of his dreams as an effective youth pastor. Demetrus may not know his biological parents, but one thing is for certain, he is definitely grateful to be called “God’s Child.”
