Dillon Chase
Dillon Chase from the 116 Clique initially came onto the scene out of Oklahoma. Being born in October of 1985, Dillon has shown great spiritual maturity in his music. Since he started rapping in 1999, Dillon has had a distinct sound with his southern swagger yet theologically sound delivery. Originally a product of a home ridden with parents addicted to drug usage, Dillon was destined for a life of struggling. But in 2004, Dillon recognized the importance of the redeeming blood of Christ and became a believer in Jesus as his Lord and Savior.
In early 2007,Dillon’s life of servitude was seen and acknowledged through fellow Christians Lecrae and Sho Baraka, thus officially initiating him into the 116 Clique. Currently Dillon continues to produce holy lyrics with a style and flare all his own, emphasizing being a walking testimony off the stage as well as on the stage, of God’s glory and redemptive power.
In September of 2008 Dillon signed with Kingdom City Records. Coupling his passion as a minister/street evangelist with Stand Out Ministries, Dillon grew exponentially as an artist, husband and father. Featuring on such albums as the “13 Letters Compilation” produced by Reach Records and Sho Baraka’s debut album “Turn My Life”, Dillon has nationwide exposure and nationwide acclaim. Although extremely talented Dillon is extremely humble in his approach to any fame knowing that God alone is deserving of glory. Initially releasing “The Pursuit” regionally to much acclaim Dillon Chase now has the opportunity to reach a national audience with his dirty south bangers, smooth contemporary cuts, amazing lyricism, all funneled through a versatile delivery.
Dillon Chase is currently touring with Kingdom City Records in various cities along with ministering in numerous cities across America. He can be found on the streets of Oklahoma and the Dallas/Denton area witnessing the gospel with a passion for reconciliation.
