GIFTED
One that is called "Gifted" is a person that possesses a great natural ability. Terrance Veal aka Gifted was born & raised in the rough streets of the New Orleans West Bank. Like most at risk youth living in poverty, he was heavily influenced by his negative environment of drugs, crime & violence.
Around the age of 13, Terrance developed an addiction to marijuana and alcohol. On two different occasions, he was involved in car accidents that left the vehicles totaled. Since he walked away without a scratch from that, he continued carrying guns, selling drugs & using marijuana. This lifestyle would come to a screeching halt though. Intended for his OLDER brother, Terrance jumped in front of a bullet after a group of street thugs fired on him. The bullet struck him in his face and he was rushed to the hospital. Uncertain of whether or not he would make it to see another day, he began thinking about the choices he was making. It wasn't long after the incident that Gifted accepted his brother in law's invitation to attend a morning church service, which led to his salvation.
Gifted is now using his past experiences to help others out of the dangerous lifestyle he once lived. He has been ministering through rap in the United States and the United Kingdom. His mission is to breathe life through Christ into people's lives. Considering the recent popularity of New Orleans rappers like Cash Money's Lil Wayne, Gifted has been in high demand. His N-O drawl, reality based lyrics and clever rhyme delivery allows Gifted to reach out to those fans that have made Lil Wayne a multi-platinum selling success. One thing's for sure, all who check out Gifted's latest album," Street Symphony," will learn about the street life, its consequences, & the saving power of Jesus Christ.
