THE GREAT ROMANCE
The Great Romance is a worship/rock band from the Midwest. With their passionate lyrics, accessible songs, amazing guitar sounds, and smooth vocals, TGR’s following continues to grow at a record pace. Their new 12 song CD, “Our Heart’s”, reflects the message of a God that loves us and wants an intimate relationship with his people.
The new project has given them the opportunity to work with some of the bigger names in Christian Music including 2010 Dove Award winning producer Rusty Varenkamp (10th Ave. North, Toby Mac) and Allen Salmon (Mute Math, This Beautiful Republic).
They’ve also been able to co-write with some amazing talents including Douglas McKelvey (Switchfoot, Sanctus Real, Kenny Rogers, and Michael W. Smith) for some of their best work to date!
Marketing Highlights:
- The single “Stolen Me” is already being added into rotation in all of the bands major markets including all 18 of the Family Friendly Radio stations throughout the Midwest.
- Radio promoter Matt Engle and/or Chris Hauser will be promoting the single.
- TGR will be taping an episode of Xtreme Video Zone for JCTV, hosting a top 10 count down and playing some of their own music.
- Shooting a new music video to launch with the release of the album.
- Appearance on The Fish, one of the largest nationally sydicated Christian Radio stations in the country.
- Multiple appearances on radio including WVYN, WIBI, WBGL, Powerlight and more to promote the new album.
- Summer tour sponsored by Compassion International that will take the band as far west as California and East as New York.
- Opening up for major artists such as Lincoln Brewster, Shane and Shane, and Charlie Hall.
- TGR will be leading worship at Calvary Church in St. Peters, MO once a month for all of 2011.
