THA GIM

 “This Iz My Life” is the national debut album from rap artist Tha GIM (pronounced the gem).

In this 15 track album Tha GIM paints a transparent and inspiring visual of his life in Christ, his past and the world around him, creatively giving each individual song a strength and purpose of its own. As he cleverly flows through bars of beats, rhymes and life Tha GIM proves to be a veteran hip hop emcee who has been
chosen and transformed to be a weapon for the greater good.

There are many dimensions to this album that will make the listener want to dance, think, bob their head and praise God. The key message in “This Iz My Life” is the salvation and freedom found only in Christ Jesus, yet is laced with social consciousness and a spirit of over coming struggle in a way that meets Christians
and secular hip hop listeners where they are and makes biblical principles relevant to today’s society.

Some key singles on this project are “World Wide”; a catchy banger produce by Christian hip hop veteran Tony Stone, the energetic “Make It Happen”, the southern bounce of “My Method”, the powerful “Freedom Song” and “Real Love”;
with the soulful vocal aide of the songs producer Terry Did Um’ of the late Tommy Boy Records gospel group Spiritual Pieces. One of the most beautifully written songs on this project also produced by Tony Stone is “U R Me”, a song sure to inspire couples and attract the female listener. It’s a semi-fictional love story where Tha GIM raps from the perspective of Adam reminiscing of his journey with his wife Eve, their initial purpose and their lasting love to the now present time, where Adam ties into to actually being Tha GIM expressing his love to his real life
wife.

Tha GIM, which stands for The God-In-Me, is a kingdom minded and unique talent from west coast-California here to make his mark in the industry and handle some kingdom business with his best work to date as a whole in “This Iz My Life”, where good music meets real life and points a lost generation to a real God.
